Plain-language summary
Easy Invoice Generator is a free tool for creating PDF invoices in your browser. We provide it as-is, without warranty. You own everything you create. We do not store your invoices or your clients. The tool is yours to use however is useful to you, within the law. If you try to abuse the service, we may block access to it.
Your invoices, your data
Every invoice, client, and preference you create in the app is stored locally in your browser. You own it. We claim no rights to it, do not store it on our servers, and cannot access it. If you lose your device or clear browser data without a backup, your invoices are gone — which is why Settings includes one-click JSON export.
Acceptable use
Use the app for lawful business purposes. Do not attempt to overwhelm the PDF rendering endpoint with automated traffic, do not attempt to reverse-engineer anti-abuse measures, and do not use the service to create invoices that are fraudulent, deceptive, or in violation of the law in your jurisdiction. We reserve the right to rate-limit or block access for abusive behaviour.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Your use of the service is at your own risk. We make our best effort to keep the app reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, bug-free operation, or that the PDF rendering endpoint will always be up.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. This includes — but is not limited to — lost invoices, lost revenue, data loss, missed billing deadlines, or any other business impact. Because we are a free service and do not store your data, our ability to help recover it is limited to the tools we ship (JSON export/import).
Accuracy of invoices
You are responsible for the accuracy and legal compliance of the invoices you create. This includes tax rates, tax IDs, currency conversions, legal requirements in your jurisdiction, and any information that appears on the invoice. The app formats the data you enter — it does not verify it.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, the updated version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
